The Do’s and Don’ts During Nano Blading Recovery

Nanoblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that uses ultra-fine needles to create precise and natural-looking hair strokes on the eyebrows. At The Sculpt Bar Aesthetics, we specialize in this innovative procedure. One of the most common questions we get asked is about the do’s and don’ts during Nanoblading recovery. Let’s delve into this topic.

What is Nanoblading?

Nanoblading is a form of eyebrow tattooing that involves the use of pigmented ink and a super fine needle to create hair-like tattoo strokes. These strokes look like natural hair. This technique doesn’t only thicken the appearance of eyebrows, it can also change the shape of your brows.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Nanoblading Recovery

The recovery process for Nanoblading is crucial to achieving the best possible results. Here are some do’s and don’ts to consider during this time:

The Do’s:

  1. Clean Regularly: Blot off any lymph with a damp cotton pad and sterile water about 3-4 times each day.

  2. Stay Moisturized: On days 3-5 of your post-work care, it’s important to make sure that your brows stay moisturized. Wash them 1-2 times a day using mild antibacterial soap, patting them dry with a soft cloth.

  3. Apply Ointment: If you have aftercare ointment, then apply it every couple of hours and after each wash. Make sure to apply just a thin layer.

The Don’ts:

  1. Avoid Picking or Scratching: You may be feeling some itchiness or seeing the area peeling. Don’t worry – this is totally normal. However, it is super important that you resist temptation and do not pick or scratch your brows.

  2. Avoid Excessive Sweating: Sweating can cause the pigment to fade quickly, so avoid heavy workouts and activities that cause excessive sweating.

  3. Avoid Sun Exposure: Direct sun exposure can cause the pigment to fade quickly, so wear a hat when going outside and avoid sunbathing.
